Spelling Sentences

This year Jackson's Studio (Rm 18) has been writing some complex sentences that have our spelling words in them. We also need to write the meaning down. This is part of our Home Learning that our teacher gives us. 

Here are my sentences that I wrote this week.

Spelling Word Example:
departed
Leave, especially in order to start a new journey.
I departed for America so that I could be reunited with my family.
Spelling Word One:
Raged
To talk in a extremely angry way.
Miss Scott  was talking in a raged voice because everyone was being naughty.
Spelling Word Two:
Teetered
To move in an unsteady way.
The colossal tower teetered although it was perfectly stabled on a flat ground.
Spelling Word Three:
Amphibious
Able to live in land and water.
Apple trees aren’t amphibious since they only grow in land.
Spelling Word Four:
Frantic
feeling or showing a lot of fear and worry.
They were greatly frantic after they found out that a child got lost.
Spelling Word Five:
Sloshing
To walk over liquid in a forceful and nosy way.
Bob was sloshing over the mud with his new rain boot because he was a naughty boy.
