This week in Jackson's Studio (Room 18) Miss Scott gave us two maths multiplication questions to do when we get home. On each question we needed to do two strategies.
This is how I worked the problems out.

This is Place Value                       
28X6=?                        
20X6=120                                         
8X6=48                            
120+48=168                     

This is Rounding and compensating 28X6=?
+(2X6)=12    
30X6=180
180-12= 168

36X10 =360                            
36X8=288                               
360+288=648
