Holes Chapter Chat.

This term our class participated again in Chapter Chat, a twitter-book chat. This term we read ‘Holes’ by Louis Sachar. The book was about a boy called, Stanley Yelnats. He never has good luck, and he is making a plan to escape Camp Green Lake. Talking about Camp Green Lake it is the most vast, disgusting place you could ever land in, it only has 2 trees, hard dry dirt and holes filled with dangerous creatures.

Each fortnight we completed various activities and answered questions based on what we had read. We then shared our activities and answers on Twitter with Room 20.

Here are two activities that I have completed on the book Holes.

My first activity is a map of where they went in the book, then if you follow the line it will show the order of where they went. So they first went to is the wreck/rec room then he headed to tent D which is where he had to sleep. The next place he went was to the lake where they dig holes, and then he went to the big thumb.

The second activity is one where you needed to make your own nickname for if you went to Camp Green Lake. For example my name would be Trouble, because I'm a trouble maker.

I hope you enjoyed my activities. Which one was your favourite?
